Love everything about this place!!

The blueberry muffins were as tender as a maidens heart. The coffee was delicious and the service was phenomenal. We were visiting from out of town and were greeted like old friends.

They out beat any other coffee shops, including DD!!!! I started going there at the age of 17. And have been going ever since👍!! When my dad passed away, and we had a get together, they supplied All the coffee, and everything they make at the shop. They were wonderful to us. My brothers and I, will be forever grateful ❤️❤️❤️❤️

This shop is one of those places where your childhood memories of delicious food and convivial staff are not disappointed. It's as good as you remember it. The honey dip donuts are large, fluffy and the glaze is the tastiest I've ever had. The cake donuts are large and crunchy on the outside, and sweet and fluffy on the inside. All of the glazed donuts are delicious. My favorite cake donut is the cinnamon. Every bite's a pleasure and they stay fresh forever. Treat yourself and try the Colonial Donut Shop. I think you'll leave happy!

It hasn't been around for the 60 or so years because it sucks. Speaking as a diabetic, this place is unfortunately off limits to me, and yet, on occasion, I must get my fix. Awesome awesome awesome.

I don't typically write reviews, but for once I am. The staff here are "EXTREMELY" friendly, and the coffee is great. My favorite flavor is the caramel nut crunch ❤ The shop open at 4, which is amazing because I head to work early. I highly recommend this place to anyone. 🖒🖒🖒🖒🖒

I love this place! I once lived in Taunton and would often buy my coffee and donuts. I haven't lived in the area for a few years, but love to visit the shop when I am in town. The staff is wonderful, the food is AWESOME, worth the trip.

Everyone is super friendly. I got there around 10. They were still making donuts but selection was limited. I got 2 honey dipped but they weren't as light as I expected them to be. I will definitely try them again because i have heard great things about them.

Best damn coffee I've ever had. Second generation Colonial Donut Can! I went with mother as a child, their cake donuts are masterpieces, but be careful, one is plenty! Went so diligently in high school tardiness became a problem. My visit today, ostensibly to see hometown family, was from New Hampshire. Great establishment, consistent quality, and gives to the community. The jewel of Taunton's remaining local businesses. Long live the Do-Nut!

I was in and out of this place real quick. Really cool vibe. Seem like it was full of locals having there morning coffee. Nothing fancy. Seemed like a place I'd like. grabbed a few donuts and a coffee, all of it was really good, I'll swing back in for sure if I'm in the area again.

Glazed chocolate donut was good but the glazing was a little thick for my liking. Staff were nice and the place was homey which is why it gets 4 stars. Not my favorite donut but it was good for the money and area. Recommended.
